Refrigerator error codes
LG and Samsung fridges report fan, sensor and defrost faults on the display. Most other brands use flashing lights or no codes at all.

Before trying anything: unplug the appliance (or switch off its breaker) and close the water or gas supply where it applies. Many codes clear after a one-minute power reset; if the same code comes back, the fault is real.
LG refrigerator codes

| Er rS / Er FS | Fridge or freezer temperature sensor fault. | Book a visit. |
| Er CO | Communication fault between boards. | Unplug for five minutes and retry. |
| Er gF | Water flow meter fault. | Check the water supply valve; book a visit if it persists. |
