What we're usually called for
Not holding temperature
Dirty condenser, failed fan, iced evaporator from a defrost fault, or a door that no longer seals. The sealed system is the last thing we suspect, not the first.
Evaporator icing over
Defrost heater, timer or sensor fault, or warm humid air from a door problem freezing on the coil.
Fans not running
Evaporator and condenser fan motors wear, and ice can stop the blades.
Door won't close or sweats
Hinges, closers and gaskets wear; a failed door-frame heater on a freezer lets ice form around the opening.
Compressor short-cycling or tripping
Low refrigerant, a failed start component, or a condenser that can't shed heat in a hot kitchen.
How a business visit works
- Tell us the unit. Make, model and serial from the data plate, plus the symptom and your hours.
- Name the approver. The site contact, a manager by email, or a PO. Nothing is repaired until they approve the written price.
- Written finding per unit. Cause, parts, labour and total, so repair history stays with the equipment.
- Diagnostic free with the repair. Otherwise $149 + tax per unit.

The diagnostic is $149 + tax per unit, and it's free when you approve the written repair and it's completed. Every repair is quoted in writing, per unit, before any work.
Can you come outside opening hours?
Often, yes. Tell us the kitchen's hours when you book and we'll schedule around service.
Do you handle refrigerant and gas work?
Refrigerant work is done by a certified refrigeration technician and gas work by licensed gas technicians.
