Terms
Terms of service
DRAFT for owner and legal review. Service is provided by [verified legal entity], operating as RepairWell and Northway Appliance Service.
1. Requests and confirmed visits
Sending the form or calling with a preferred day and window starts a request. It turns into a confirmed visit when a technician is assigned and you receive our confirmation email. Arrival windows are our best estimate, and we tell you if we are running late.
2. The diagnostic
$89 + tax for each home electric appliance on each visit; $149 + tax for each gas appliance or commercial unit. It pays for travel inside the regular area, the inspection and the written finding. When you approve the quoted repair and it is finished, the diagnostic is removed. Each extra appliance diagnosed on the same visit is $45 + tax. If your address is beyond the regular area, any travel charge is given to you before you confirm.
3. Approval before work
Nothing is repaired until you, or the approver you named, accept the written price. If the technician finds something more, work pauses until that is approved too.
4. Parts
Parts are priced inside the approved repair, with no deposit. For a back-ordered part we give an expected date, and you can cancel without paying for it.
5. Warranty and satisfaction guarantee
The 90-day warranty applies when we replace a part, and covers that part. If you are not satisfied with our work, tell us and we will return to put it right. These terms do not reduce any statutory right.
6. Cancelling or rescheduling
No charge until the technician has set off for your address. If no one is there for a confirmed visit, the diagnostic is charged.
7. Paying
Payment is due when the work, or the diagnostic-only visit, is finished. Monthly invoicing is available to business accounts by agreement.
8. Safe access
Please make the appliance safely reachable. Where conditions around it are unsafe (gas supply, wiring, structure), the technician may decline the job and will put the reason in writing.
9. Liability
Work is covered by commercial general liability insurance. Your rights under the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, 2002 are unaffected.
