Safe checks before you book
- Condenser coil. Usually behind a front grille; heavy dust and grease cut cooling.
- Door gaskets. Torn seals on frequently opened doors.
- Airflow inside. Don't block the evaporator fan with product.
Unplug first. Switch off power (and close the water or gas supply where it applies) before looking behind or inside an appliance. If anything feels unsafe, stop and call.
What usually causes it
| Dirty condenser | Cleaning often restores cooling. |
|---|---|
| Evaporator or condenser fan | Failed motors. |
| Thermostat or controller | Wrong readings. |
| Refrigerant | Leaks, handled by a certified refrigeration technician. |
When to stop and call
Product above safe temperature: move it and call.

What the visit costs
The diagnostic is free when you approve the repair and it's completed. You get the cause, the parts, labour and total in writing before any work. If you don't go ahead, it's $149 + tax per commercial unit.
